In late May, the purging cassia flowers (also known as golden shower, Cassia fistula, etc) in Zhongshan downtown are in full bloom. Purging cassia is also called "the golden rain", and its flowering period is from June to Augustgenerally.

Purging cassia trees planted along the roads and in the parks have entered the full bloom period. Numerous golden flowers on the trees resemble a beautiful "golden waterfall”.

Petals are knocked down one by one by the gentle breeze, just like drizzle golden rains.

These trees are planted such places as Cuisha Road, Bo'ai Road and Haodong Road. Flower lovers can visit these places to enjoy the charming view.
