The project signing ceremony was recently held for the Dongqu Zhongshan Forest Wildlife Park in Zhongshan's South District.

Covering an area of about 1,400 mu, the project is located in Beixi Community, with an investment of 800 million yuan. It will create a new-type wildlife park featuring an immersive mountain interaction experience mode, and it is expected to open to the public in 2027.

The park will include functional areas such as a wildlife museum, an aquarium (the Mermaid Theater), a forest water park, a giraffe restaurant, pet zones, and a forest theater.

The investor Dongqu Kingdom is a culture and tourism development enterprise specialized in the development of zoos and aquariums. It runs over 20 animal-themed parks and 3 ocean parks in Hangzhou, Changsha, Nanjing, and other places.
