The Yaji Mountain Younan Tourism Area in Zhongshan's Shenwan Town was rated as a national AAA-level tourist attraction on December 9. This is the second national AAA-rated tourist attraction in Shenwan.
Yaji Mountain Younan Tourism Area is located in the Guyou area of Shenwan, at the north entrance of Yaji Mountain. Covering the area from Guyou Memorial Archway on Shenwan Avenue to the north entrance of Yaji Mountain Forest Park, it is mainly composed of Chuanxi and Shierhuan villages, with a land area of about 405 mu.
It is a country resort that integrates catering, recreation, camping and healthcare in the forest. It has more than 10 scenic spots inside, such as Zhaxi Campsite and Jixing Forest, providing tourists with services for food, accommodation, travel, sightseeing, shopping and entertainment.
Guyou Village has been inhabited by people since the 1544 during the Jiajing Era of the Ming Dynasty. It is the earliest village with historical records in Shenwan. Zhongshan's first town-level overseas Chinese history and culture museum is seated in the central Yaji Mountain Younan Tourism Area.
