Zhongshan Financial Consumption Protection Federation shall in the future designate professional mediators to the Studio in a bid to mediate financial disputes before they are litigated. After both parties must have reached a conciliation agreement and signed and sealed, they may apply to the people's court with jurisdiction for confirmation of its legal effect.

Financial consumption disputes has been increasing in recent years, and courts in Zhongshan have received an increasing number of bank-related financial cases year by year. From January to October this year, Zhongshan courts accepted a total of 6,034 financial consumption dispute cases.

"As a new mechanism for resolving disputes before their litigation, the Studio will help broaden channels aimed at resolving financial consumption disputes and enhancing the professional level and practical effectiveness of dispute resolution," said Wu Yuanyuan, a judge of Case Filing Chamber of the Zhongshan First People's Court.
