The "Zhongshan Platform for Oath of Allegiance to the Constitution" was unveiled at the Zhongshan Legal Culture Park (located in the GoTone Park next to China Mobile Zhongshan Branch) on December 4, the 6th National Constitution Day.

About 150 representatives of member units of the Zhongshan Joint Conference on Legal Popularization Responsibility System took part in the oath-taking ceremony, and 60 legal volunteers read some chapters from the Constitution.

With the opening of Zhongshan's first city-level legal culture park, the "Zhongshan Platform for Oath of Allegiance to the Constitution" was officially put into use. Zhongshan Legal Culture Park covers an area of about 23 mu (about 15,333.33 square meters). The park is divided into such areas as the Legal History and Culture Zone and a game zone and encompasses more than 40 elements which display the rule of law.

As the first of its kind in Zhongshan, the platform has a "Constitution Wall" which is carved with the complete text of the Constitution, and this landmark underscores its solemnity and dignity of the entire site. A large LED screen is mounted beside the Constitution Wall for legal promotional information for all citizens.

Zhongshan Legal Culture Park is not only a space for entertainment and leisure, but also a place for state officials and administrators to take the oath of allegiance to the Constitution and for the masses to read the constitution, as well as a place for various forms of publicity activities concerning the promotion of legal information.
