??Zhongshan Urban and Rural Planning Bureau recently seeks public opinions on the "Regulations on Self-built Housing Planning in Zhongshan".

??The “Regulations” mentions that the area of each self-built house is not more than 600 square meters, while the height is not more than 15 meters. In general the house is not more than four storey,and the building area of the fourth floor can not exceed half of third floor’s.

??According to the "Regulations", the central city covers East District, West District, South District, Shiqi District, Wuguishan District, Torch Development Zone (including Tsuihang New District). Other townships can make the suitable rules on self-built housing regulation in accordance with local situation, regional characteristics and rural style.
