??Fifteen government departments including Zhongshan Intermediate People’s Court, Zhongshan Intermediate People's Procuratorate, Education and Sports Bureau and Public Security Bureau convened a meeting on November 6 and confirmed the establishment of joint conference system for family trial mode and working mechanism reform. Since then, all government departments will coordinate in family dispute settlement, psychological assessment intervention, domestic abuse victim protection and etc and cooperate with each other in preventing and solving family troubles.
??In recent years, Zhongshan’s courts at two levels have witnessed a rapid growth in litigation related to family affairs. From January to October this year, Zhongshan’s courts at two levels have received 2644 family cases, 1885  of which have been settled and 1199 (64%) have been withdrawn.
