??According to “The 2018 (Revised) Incentive Measures for Reporting Environmental Illegal Behaviors”, whistleblower will be rewarded 20% of the penalty the environmental law breaker accept (capped at 100,000 yuan per case), Zhongshan Environmental Protection Bureau indicates.
??The revised Incentive Measures stipulates that any unit or individual (collectively called ‘whistleblower’) can report environmental illegality.
??The revised Incentive Measures also up-regulates the reward proportion to 20% (of the penalty put on law-breaker) from 10%.
??The revised Incentive Measures will be valid for five years since August 1, 2018, at which time the 2015 edition of the Incentive Measures will be abolished.
