A total of 16,250 forged and fake clothes were destroyed in the officie compound of the market regulation department of Shaxi Town on the morning of July 17.

Most of the destroyed clothes were counterfeited as various brand names, such as Adidas, Nike, Champion, Gucci, and more.

At the site, the staff destroyed any commercial value that these counterfeit products may have had by cutting and clipping them to pieces based on various categories. They were then classified for disposal.

The shreds of fabric produced from the next step will be handed over to qualified companies for recycling or other treatment to render them useless.
