The Zhongshan Public Hospital Management Center (ZSPHMC) has recently organized a meeting with the Zhongshan Bo'ai Hospital and officially appointed a chief accountant to the hospital.

All chief accountants of municipal public hospitals shall be engaged by ZSPHMC before appointment. They will not receive remuneration from the hospitals they serve.

The appointed chief accountants will assist the hospital directors in managing the hospitals' economic and operational work, organize economic management and financial accounting, participate in decision-making relating to major financial and economic matters, and supervise the execution.

According to the arrangement, ZSPHMC will complete the appointment of chief accountants for all public hospitals at municipal, town and community levels within this year.
