The signing ceremony of the government-enterprise integrity convention for the taxi industry was held at the Traffic Transport Association of Zhongshan City on July 13.

At the event, Liang Ke, director of the Zhongshan Bureau of Transport, signed the integrity convention with representatives of 10 taxi enterprises, 6 internet travel platforms, and the Traffic Transport Association of Zhongshan City.

Li Yong, a female taxi driver, made a promise to the citizens on behalf of all taxi drivers in Zhongshan. She said that they would make contributions to the civilized city establishment with standardized, safe and high-quality services.

A representative of the Zhongshan Bureau of Transport said that the taxi industry integrity sub-system has already been implemented for one month. The signing of the integrity convention means that taxi drivers who are on the dishonest list will face the punishment of being banned from working in all taxi enterprises and internet travel platforms.
