Zhongshan recently issued a set of enforcement advice to support the development of small and micro service enterprises in Zhongshan with greater efforts and more practical measures.

According to the document, Zhongshan strives to add over 1,000 service enterprises above designated size within 3 years and achieve net growth in the number every year. The city also plans to develop an enterprise development pattern with reasonable layout, normative management and improving market competitiveness and sustainable development capacity.

The document clarifies new incentives to be given. For example, starting from 2021, a one-time reward of 50,000 yuan will be for the first time given to enterprises that are included in the "Directory Database of Wholesale and Retail, Accommodation and Catering Enterprises above Designated Size" and "Directory Database of Service Enterprises above Designated Size" (excluding those made the Directory Databases before January 2021). Included enterprises whose operating income increases by over 20% can be rewarded with 100,000 yuan in the second year.

The document mentions that qualified enterprises above designated size and growing enterprises will be given priority in getting new construction land for expansion if they are doing business in Zhongshan's development-encouraging industries.
