The Zhongshan Bureau of Ecology and Environment (ZSBEE) has released the Administrative Measures for Identifying Environmental Integrated Industrial Parks, aiming to further standardize the sound development of environmental integrated industrial parks in Zhongshan, and win the battle against pollution.
There are two circumstances for the identification. The first circumstance is application for pre-assessment (application for a "blue license"). Proposed environmental integrated industrial parks shall have been completed with all facilities built up. The blue license shall remain valid for three years in principle, and shall be non-renewable at expiration.
The second one is application for identification (application for a "green license"). Proposed environmental integrated industrial parks shall have been completed with all facilities built up and put into operation, and pollution control measures of public facilities shall have passed environmental inspection. The green license shall remain valid for three years in principle, applications may be filed with ZSBEE before its expiration, and parks involved shall be re-identified if applications fail to be filed within time limits.
In addition to support such as policy guidance, technical support and financial support, identified parks shall be prioritized for future ecological and environmental funds.
