The National Development and Reform Commission General Office and the People's Bank of China General Office announced through a notice on August 7 that 68 areas across the country are defined as the fourth national demonstration areas of social credit system building.

Zhongshan was selected into the list. It reflects that the city has achieved results in building social credit system, which help improve the city's business environment and provide experience and references for Guangdong to boost social credit system building.

"National Demonstration Area of Social Credit System Building" is the top honor in the credit-system building field in China. These areas are important carriers to promote the high-quality development of social credit system and play a positive role in improving the social credit system building mechanism, promoting the collection and sharing of credit information, innovating measures to benefit the public and enterprises, and developing an honest and trustworthy social atmosphere.
