The Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Chinese Medicine (GDHTCM) and the Zhongshan Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine on August 21 signed a cooperation agreement on medical treatment, teaching and research, marking that the latter had become a cooperative hospital of the GDHTCM. The two sides will cooperate in discipline building and resource sharing to bring provincial medical services to residents in Zhongshan.

In recent years, the two hospitals have conducted extensive cooperation in specialty building, academic exchange and key problem tackling. Under the latest agreement, closer cooperation will be realized between the two hospitals regarding specialized treatment, hierarchical diagnosis and treatment, platform building, talent training, research output, hospital management, culture development, and etc.
