The 2023 China (Zhongshan) Flowers and Trees Trade Fair opened at Xijiang Huazhou Park in Henglan Town, Zhongshan City on November 16.

There are 5 exhibition and sales activities for characteristic products, 3 supply-demand networking activities and 6 culture and tourism activities during the event, aiming to establish a platform to promote high-quality development of China's flowers and trees industry through special exhibitions, exquisite international bonsai displays, popular garden shows, information-rich online exhibitions, top industry forums and market-oriented networking activities.

An investment promotion conference was held to target resources of the flowers and trees industry and promote quality projects.

During the opening ceremony, a batch of key projects were inked on stage. The Zhongshan Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and the Zhongshan Technical Service Alliance of Rural Revitalization and Beautiful Village Construction signed a strategic cooperation agreement. The People's Government of Henglan Town inked an agreement with Sunhola Group in the production, marketing and supply chain cooperation, and a framework agreement with the Guangdong Landscape Architecture and Ecological Landscape Association for the establishment of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Standardized Seedling Base. The Guangdong Landscape Architecture and Ecological Landscape Association, the Hong Kong Institute of Landscape Architects and the Association of Promotion of Landscape and Greening of Macao signed strategic cooperation agreements on flowers and trees trade with the Henglan Sansha Flower Association.

The organizing committee donated saplings worth 5.2 million yuan to the Guangdong Foundation for Rural Revitalization, which will be used for the construction of a "Green and Beautiful Guangdong". At the same time, plaques were awarded to 6 enterprises (associations) that have made outstanding contributions to the ecological construction of Guangdong.

During the event, a series of special exhibition and sales activities as well as culture and tourism activities will be organized, and an online exhibition platform for exhibitions, transactions, exchanges and interactions is available.
