Christmas is around the corner, and the Zhongshan Passenger Port is about to usher in a passenger flow peak. Starting from December 22, the port will open more inbound and outbound ferry flights to Hong Kong.
It is reported that overseas Chinese and Hong Kong residents returning to hometown for vacation will be the main force of passenger flow. It also coincides with the weekend, and it is expected that the number of customs clearance personnel will increase significantly.
In order to facilitate passengers' travel, the Zhongshan Passenger Port will provide additional inbound and outbound flights from December 22 to 26, with four to six more round-trip flights per day.
The frontier inspection authority reminds passengers to schedule their trips properly and book tickets in advance through "中港客运" (Zhongshan-Hong Kong passenger transport) on WeChat. In case of difficulties in customs clearance or entry-exit related problems, the passengers can call the service hotline 12367 or seek help from the immigration police on duty.
