"We have completed a series of acquisitions targeting the international market, aiming to integrate the semiconductor supply chain and provide clients with one-stop services," said Yang Xiaobin, deputy general manager of the Shenzhen-based Longsys, the parent company of Longsys Zhongshan, adding that the second phase of the company's industrial park project will establish 110,000 square meters of special lines for enterprise-class storage, with plans for them to be operational later this year.
The Longsys Zhongshan Industrial Park is located in Cuiheng New District's Ma'an Island. It is primarily engaged in the research, design and sales of Flash and DRAM memory products.
The park covering an area of 4.95 hectares has a total investment of 1 billion yuan and will be constructed in two phases. The first phase was put into operation in 2019, with a construction area of about 60,000 square meters and over 700 employees, including more than 400 engineers.
The second phase will include several function areas for the research and development, embedded memory testing, data storage and special lines, intelligent logistics and warehousing, etc.
