The 2024 National Swimming Championships Spring Edition was held in Qingdao City, Shandong Province from March 1 to 4.

In the women's 100-meter backstroke event on March 3, Wang Xue'er from Zhongshan secured the gold medal with absolute dominance. She also came in second place in the 200-meter backstroke event later.

In 2009, Wang Xue'er joined Zhongshan Sports School for swimming training and was selected to the Guangdong Swimming Team in 2011. In 2023, Wang clinched the women's 50-meter backstroke championship at the Hangzhou Asian Games.
