New progress has been made in the construction of the Nansha-Zhongshan Intercity Railway Shiji Road station on March 13. As the first bottom board was poured, Shiji Road station entered the stage of main structure construction.

According to the schedule, shield launching is expected to commence in late May, making Shiji Road station the first station on the Zhongshan downtown section of Nansha-Zhongshan Intercity Railway to launch the shield.

Shiji Road station is a two-level underground station 293.2 meters long, 22.1 meters wide and 20.98 meters high. It is situated on both sides of Qinxue Road and provides transfers to the planned Zhongshan urban railway Line 1.
