After more than 90 days of operation, construction of the main tower pile of the grand bridge over Hutiaomen Waterway on the Shenzhen–Jiangmen Railway was completed on March 14. 

The bridge is 589.6 meters long, with a 300-meter main span 2 main towers. It is a key project of the Shenzhen–Jiangmen Railway.

Previously on the early morning of March 12, the first bearing platform of the main bridge was poured.

The Shenzhen-Jiangmen Railway, with a 116-kilometer main line, has 7 stations of Shenzhen Xili, Shenzhen Airport East, Dongguan Binhaiwan Bay Area, Nansha, Zhongshan North, Zhongshan West and Jiangmen. After its opening, the traveling time between Zhongshan and Shenzhen will be cut to less than one hour.
