In the recent southern regional competition of the RoboMaster University Championship 2024 (RMUC), the RoboBraver team of the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Zhongshan Institute clinched the champion title and got a ticket to the national finals.

This year's RMUC witnessed the participation of nearly 10,000 students from over 300 colleges and universities from around the world. A total of 105 college and university teams, with 5,338 young engineers and 840 self-developed robots, took part in the eastern, central and southern regional competitions held in Suzhou, Wuhan and Changsha respectively.

Founded in 2015, RoboBraver consists of some 150 students of different majors from Zhongshan Institute.

Since its founding, RoboBraver has won a total of 105 national awards and 33 provincial awards in various robot competitions.
