A Taiwan media delegation visited Zhongshan for a study tour on June 20.

Reporters from Taiwanese media outlets, such as United Daily News and Eastern Television, visited the Xixiangtian study base in Maxi Village, Wuguishan Sub-district, where they were informed by a young entrepreneur the development of the enterprise.

On that afternoon, the media delegation went to the Zhongshan Taiwan Business Investors Social Association and learned about the development of Taiwan-funded enterprises in Zhongshan.

The media delegation also visited the Zhongshan Museum to gain insights into Zhongshan's history and cultural deposits.

At a well-known restaurant in Zhongshan, Zheng Yaorong, owner of the restaurant and president of Zhongshan Cuisine Association, introduced Zhongshan specialty dishes, including Shiqi Pigeon, Crisp Grass Carp, Sanxiang Rice Noodle and Xiaolan Chrysanthemum Sashimi, to Taiwanese reporters.

In the evening, the media delegation showed up at the West Sunwen Road pedestrian street and Xingzhong Plaza to experience the revitalized "Xiangshan ancient city" and the bustling night in Zhongshan.

"Zhongshan is the hometown of Dr Sun Yat-sen. This trip brings me rich experiences in the culture, food and booming economy of Zhongshan and a better impression of the city," said a member of the Taiwan media delegation.
