According to an approval document released by the provincial department of transportation, six tollgates will be set up along the Nanzhong (Nansha-Zhongshan) Expressway after its opening.

Among them, three tollgates are located in Zhongshan, namely Shenzhen-Zhongshan Cooperation Zone, Minzhong South and Qijiang New Town North. The other three are Caihong, Nansha Wetland and Nansha South.

Currently, Nanzhong Expressway is basically completed and is projected to open to traffic within this year ahead of schedule.

Nanzhong Expressway, with a total length of 32.41 kilometers, consists of the main line and the Wanqingsha branch line. The former has been joined up earlier this year in April.
