Cingular Biotechnology, a leading R&D enterprise of artificial biological heart valves in China, has settled its project on Ma'an Island in Cuiheng New District.

"The company will enter the Zhongshan Life Science Park and plans to build an intelligent bioproduction and manufacturing base in the District," said Wang Baowei, chairman of the operating company of the park, adding that Cingular Biotech is a high-tech medical enterprise engaged in the research and development, production and sales of high-end medical products for human implantation.

"The park aims to attract quality projects from Shenzhen, Guangzhou and the Yangtze River Delta so as to boost the development of the biological medicine sector," said Wang Baowei.

Cuiheng New District is also planning to conduct inspections in Sichuan, Shanghai, Suzhou, Nanjing among other regions to expand investment channels and interact with high-quality projects and enterprises in key sectors and areas.
