The Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge, the world's tallest over-sea bridge, joined up on April 28, 2023.

The Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge is also a steel box girder suspension bridge with the world's largest span and highest navigation clearance.

With a 1,666-meter main span, the Bridge has two 270-meter towers on the east and west sides and 213 steel box girder segments.

From September 6, 2018, when the pile foundation drilling began, the entire construction of the Bridge took nearly five years.
