At the finals of 2023 Village Basketball Competition of China, known as the "Cun BA", or "Village BA", the Shaxi team from Zhongshan, Guangdong won the national championship. This year, the Guangdong provincial competition is happening right in Zhongshan. Twenty-three teams from cities across Guangdong, including last year's national finalists - the Zhongshan Shaxi team and the Dongguan Dalang team, will compete in 64 exciting matches.
