The 2024 China (Guangdong) International Tourism Industry Expo (CITIE) opened in Guangzhou on September 13.

This year's CITIE set up three exhibition halls for international culture and tourism, culture-tourism integration and the culture and tourism consumption, respectively, with culture and tourism institutions and companies from nearly 50 countries and regions around the world as well as over 30 provinces across the country participating.

More than 20 organizations and enterprises in the culture and tourism industry from 11 towns and sub-districts of Zhongshan attended the event, including popular attractions such as Tourism Area of Sun Yat-sens' Hometown, Zhan's Garden and Chubang Soy Sauce Culture Museum, and other attractions and enterprises such as Huayi Plaza, Dajianshan Camping Park, Zhongshan Hot Spring Resort, Sheraton Zhongshan Downtown and Deyi Ruixiang Chocolate Factory.

Festive lantern making, Tuwei wine and chrysanthemum cakes of Xiaolan, pineapple puff and drinks of Shenwan, agarwood and white tea of Wuguishan, Drunken Dragon Dance of West District... The Zhongshan exhibition area showcased a wide range of specialty products and resources to enable visitors to experience the city's fascinating culture.
