In the first three quarters of 2024, Zhongshan's GDP reached 285.2 billion yuan, with a year-on-year growth of 4.1%.

The added value of the primary industry was 6.355 billion yuan, with a year-on-year increase of 3.3%; that of the secondary industry was 147.639 billion yuan, with a year-on-year increase of 6.8%; and that of the tertiary industry was 131.205 billion yuan, up 1.2% year-on-year.

The added value of above-scale industries reached 112.136 billion yuan, with a year-on-year growth of 6.0%. By category, the added value of the manufacturing industry grew by 6.2%, and that of the production and supply industry of electricity, heat, gas and water increased by 2.4%.

By industry segment, the added values of the manufacturing of computers and communication and other electronic equipment, the utilization of waste resources, and the manufacturing of railways, ships, aerospace and other transportation equipment rose by 20.9%, 16.1%, and 13.5%, respectively.

By modern industry segments, the added value of advanced manufacturing grew by 7.5%, and that of high-tech manufacturing grew by 8.9%.

The city's fixed asset investment increased by 1.3% year on year. Industrial investment climbed by 14.8% year on year, accounting for 43.4% of the total fixed asset investment. Investment in industrial technical reform was up 25.9%, accounting for 17.1%. Investment in advanced manufacturing grew by 21.5%.

Zhongshan's CPI (Consumer Price Index) dropped by 0.4% year on year, and the per capita disposable income reached 50,647 yuan, with a year-on-year increase of 4.5%.
