As the Spring Festival approaches, Hanna Peng, vice president of the Chinese Entrepreneurs Society of Canada, once again visits her hometown of Shengshi Village in Shaxi, Zhongshan. She plans to bring special blessings to her family far away. 

The Chinese New Year festivities in Canada are brimming with holiday cheer, bringing back memories of her childhood Spring Festivals. Now, the Spring Festival has become a global holiday. She notes that in Canada, where she resides, not only Chinese but also Westerners celebrate the Spring Festival. 

Similar to the customs of her hometown, her Canadian family also engages in activities like visiting flower markets, shopping for the New Year, and having a reunion dinner. She plans to adorn her home with the Spring Festival couplets handwritten by her hometown folks, with the characters "Fortune, Prosperity, Longevity" embodying her wishes for the Year of the Snake.
