According to a report released by the Zhongshan Bureau of Statistics on January 27, Zhongshan's GDP in 2024 stood at 414.325 billion yuan, up 3.7% year-on-year, calculated at constant prices.
The added value of primary industry rose 2.6% year-on-year to 9.600 billion yuan, the added value of secondary industry rose 6.0% year-on-year to 212.414 billion yuan, and the added value of tertiary industry rose 1.3% year-on-year to 192.310 billion yuan.
The added value of industry above designated size increased by 5.4% year-on-year, with that of manufacturing saw a 5.6% year-on-year growth, indicating that Zhongshan's investment structure continues to optimize and the manufacturing sector has a more solid foundation.
The city's fixed-asset investment decreased by 2.6% year-on-year. Industrial investment jumped by 10.9% year-on-year, with investment in industrial technical transformation up 18.8% and investment in advanced manufacturing up 14.3%.
