Nature observers spotted about 10 Eurasian spoonbills, a Class II protected species in China, at the Cuiheng National Wetland Park in Zhongshan, Guangdong on February 24.
Every winter and spring, Eurasian spoonbills can be found in Zhongshan, especially in wetland areas.
With a wetland coverage rate of 63.21%, Cuiheng National Wetland Park features extensive mangrove forests that attract a variety of wild birds such as black-faced spoonbills, Eurasian spoonbills and little egrets. It is a good place for bird watching and family outings.
