A solemn ceremony, attended by people from all walks of life in Zhongshan, was held at Sun Wen Memorial Park on the morning of March 11 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the death of Sun Yat-sen, a Chinese revolutionary and statesman.

Alexandra Sun Yali, the great-grandniece of Sun Yat-sen, attended the ceremony and remembered Dr Sun Yat-sen together with representatives from the Zhongshan Institute for Sun Yat-sen Studies, the calligraphy and painting circle, the business circle and the general public.
