The fourth session of the 13th Zhongshan Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) opened at the Zhongshan Convention Center on the morning of March 26.

Zhuang Shujun, chairman of the CPPCC Zhongshan Municipal Committee, delivered a work report on behalf of the Standing Committee of the 13th CPPCC Zhongshan Municipal Committee.

Entrusted by the Standing Committee, Ye Xinxiong, vice chairman of the CPPCC Zhongshan Municipal Committee, reported on proposals and related work since the third session.

The meeting commended 15 key proposals and outstanding proposals submitted in 2024, as well as 33 outstanding CPPCC Zhongshan committee members for their exemplary performance.

Honorary certificates were also presented to overseas Chinese representatives attending the meeting as non-voting delegates.
