On March 18, the first leg of the 2025 China Baseball League kicked off at the Zhongshan International Baseball and Softball Center. Later on March 23, the 2025 Youth Public Welfare Annual Cup Greater Bay Area Baseball and Softball Invitational Tournament started on the same field.

These two events attracted top-tier baseball and softball teams from across the country and made the center a focal point for fans nationwide.
