Zhongshan-based company TCL AC organized a media day activity at its Zhongshan headquarters base recently. In its production workshops, the smart production lines operate in an efficient manner, producing one air-conditioner every eight seconds.

As a ten-billion-yuan-level leading enterprise, TCL AC has been rooted in Zhongshan's Nantou for 26 years, with its products sold in over 160 countries and regions. In recent years, the company has experienced rapid growth, and its annual production and sales volume of air-conditioners soared from 10 million units in 2017 to 20 million units in 2024. The company's annual output value also surpassed 30 billion yuan for the first time in 2024, achieving a year-on-year growth of over 30%.

In the context of Zhongshan's industrial park renovation scheme, TCL AC invested 200 million yuan to construct a new technology building and a 50,000-square-meter high-standard factory in early 2024. The new facilities were were put into production in December 2024. The new factory, featuring state-of-the-art air-conditioner manufacturing workshops and AI-powered digital production lines, can produce 4 million units of products every year.

TCL AC is also broadening the scenarios for air-conditioner usage by innovating its products with AI technology. For instance, TCL AC's air-conditioners can be turned on and off with AI voice systems that can even recognize dialects.

Through deep integration of AI technology and digital and smart manufacturing, TCL AC is expected to achieve an annual output value of over 70 billion yuan in 2028.
