With the welding of the 3-meter girth joint of the last steel box girder finished, the Zhongshan Bridge section of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge (Shenzhong Link) was joined upon June 28.

The Zhongshan Bridge section is one of the key components of the the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge. With a main span of 580 meters, it is a dual tower, cable-stayed bridge. Its main tower is 213.5 meters high and connected withthe bridge deckwith 120 stay cables.

Next, the pavement and auxiliary facilities will be constructed for the bridge.
