On March 30, the opening ceremony of the 2023 Zhongshan Global Investment Promotion Conferences and the 10th Top Talent Networking was held at the International Conference Center of Zhongshan Hot Spring Resort, with sub-venues set up in Hong Kong and Macao SARs at home, as well as in Malaysia.

Project signing is always one of the highlights of this annual event. This year, the signed projects include "10 New Industrial Clusters", foreign investment projects, SRDI projects, modern service industry and leading talent projects. Representatives of a number of high-quality projects of large investment scale, considerable economic benefits, high technology and strong industry-driven effects signed the contracts on the scene.

In addition to new projects, many local high-quality enterprises increased investment in Zhongshan this year. These projects included Mingyang's electric clean energy and intelligent equipment industrial park, Vatti's digital and intelligent industrial park for kitchen appliances, TCL's intelligent R&D and manufacturing headquarters, Jianhua's supply chain platform, and etc.

At the event, an appointment and awarding ceremony was held for the newly recognized headquarters enterprises in 2022, representatives of specially-invited experts in 2022, global investment consultants and talent recruitment consultants. Besides, the 2023 Oversea Experts' Guangdong Tour and Zhongshan Global Talent Networking was launched, and representatives of key enterprises, outstanding talents and overseas students were invited to deliver speeches. 

For the first time, this year's Zhongshan Global Investment Promotion Conferences included not only activities in the main venue but also many special investment promotion activities in towns and districts in accordance with their industrial characteristics. 

Soon after, more than 14 industry chain investment promotion meetings on industrial design, intelligent manufacturing, bio-medicine, new energy, photoelectric information and modern services, as well as 12 talent networking activities, including a job fair for enterprises in Zhongshan's "10 New Industrial Clusters", a supply and demand meeting for high-skilled talents, and entrepreneurship and innovation activities for Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan youth as well as overseas Chinese, will be carried out across the city.

With the theme of "Invest in Zhongshan for a Win-win Future", the event focusing on high-quality development was held to showcase Zhongshan's solid industrial foundation, broad development space and excellent business environment, attract more quality enterprises to invest in Zhongshan, gather more talents from home and abroad to pursue innovation and start businesses in the city, and continuously stimulate high-quality development momentum so as to develop Zhongshan into the "Guangdong Reform and Innovation Experimental Zone for the Integrated and Interactive Development of the East and West Banks of the Pearl River Estuary".
