The 134th Canton Fair opened at the Canton Fair Complex in Guangzhou on October 15, seven days before the opening of the 29th China (Guzhen) International Lighting Fair (GILF). A Guzhen Town delegation visited Guangzhou on the same day to promote the GILF at the influential Canton Fair.

According to the organizing committee, up to 45,000 people have signed up for the GILF, including over 5,100 from overseas areas.

At the Canton Fair, Ren Fuquan, government affairs manager of SGS China Connectivity & Products business division, presented the plaque "Global Procurement Base" of lighting products to the Guzhen Foreign Trade Base. SGS is a world-leading testing, inspection, and verification institution with more than 2,600 branches and laboratories worldwide and over 93,000 technicians. Its services cover various industries including household and light industry products, electronic and electrical products, agricultural food, and life sciences.

The GILF is a significant platform for Zhongshan to expand its international network, enhance the city's reputation, and globalize the Guzhen Lighting brand. Guzhen Town is inviting merchants from around the world to participate in the fair.
