The Third Forum on Global Communication of Chinese Cities was held in Beijing on January 26.

With the theme of "Improve Communication Quality through Interaction, Integration and Mutual Learning", the forum was co-sponsored by Reference News, the News and Information Services of Xinhua News Agency, and the Xinhua Institute.

During the forum, the Analysis Report on Overseas Influence of Chinese Cities (2023) was released, according to which Zhongshan became the only city in Guangdong Province to make the Successful Cases in International Communication of Chinese City list and the cases of overseas media operation of Chinese cities list.
