The Nansha-Zhongshan Intercity Railway Torch Station resumed construction after the Spring Festival holiday on February 20, and the project is undergoing construction on its underground levels, providing a solid foundation for the subsequent construction of the main structure.
At 9:00 am, the construction site on Shiji 1st Road in Torch Development Zone resounded with the roaring sound of excavator operation, signaling the commencement of foundation pit excavation.
The station includes three underground levels, with the first underground level being the Gangxiang Tunnel, and the second and third underground levels being the Torch Station. The station is 272 meters long and 29.5 meters wide, with a total construction area of 26,295.98 square meters. The total length of the construction area is 3,622 meters, with a total cost of 980 million yuan.
The 10 construction sites of the Nansha-Zhongshan Intercity Railway Zhongshan section have entered the construction phase. Xingzhong Station, Shiqi Station and Qijiangdao Station (formerly Qijiang New Town Station) are currently undergoing wall construction for the main structures.
