China's first air-rail combined transport project, jointly operated by Shenzhen Metro and Heli-Eastern, completed its maiden flight lately from the Shenzhen North Railway Station.
This project includes intra-city routes to different districts in Shenzhen and inter-city routes to Zhongshan and other Greater Bay Area cities. The take-off and landing point in Zhongshan is situated at the Skyline International Plaza, and the flight from Shenzhen to Zhongshan takes about 25 minutes.
According to its official WeChat applet "Air Taxi (空中的士出行)", the project offers flights between Zhongshan's Skyline International Plaza and Shenzhen North Railway Station. One to six passengers can be carried each flight, with a total fare of 39,800 yuan.
The service, using the H135 helicopter model,is available every half an hour from 9:00 to 18:30 every day. Three million yuan is insured for each seat in the helicopter.
To take the flight, children need to be at least three years old, and those aged under 12 need to be accompanied by adults.
