In the past week, waves of business delegations travelled back and forth between Shenzhen and Zhongshan. Recent data from Cuiheng New District shows that the Future Technology Center of the Bay Area, an industrial platform co-developed by state-owned enterprises in the 2 cities, witnessed a 30% growth in the number of visiting business delegations.
On July 14, a new wave of business delegations came to Cuiheng. Many entrepreneurs were optimistic about development opportunities in Zhongshan after touring the Future Technology Center of the Bay Area, the Zhongshan Life Science Park and the planning exhibition center.
"Zhongshan boasts vast land resources and more preferential policies, making it highly appealing to enterprises. I feel positive about the opportunities here," said Gui Suixiang, vice president of UQian Tech, a company based in Shenzhen, at the Zhongshan Life Science Park.
This trip to Zhongshan, Gui Suixiang aimed to gain a better understanding of Zhongshan's political and economic environment and its financial support for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises.
Gui Suixiang believed the newly-opened ShenZhong Link significantly reduces the commuting time and facilitates the seamless communications of people, logistics, capital and information between the two cities, creating more possibilities for the integrated economic development.
"In terms of transportation, Zhongshan has significant advantages, and Cuiheng New District has an excellent overall planning of industrial parks," said Huang Xuming, general manager of Shenzhen Rising Medical Technology, who visited Zhongshan through the ShenZhong Link for the first time.
