The 34th China Home Appliances Fair opened in Zhongshan's Huangpu Town on August 7. Over 500 enterprises from all across the country, including well-known brands such as Weking, Leeper, Yalice, Smales and Bear, took part in the event with 60,000 new models.
The 3-day fair covered an exhibition area of approximately 30,000 square meters. Some 50,000 visitors were estimated to attend the fair.
On the opening day, more than 19,000 merchants visited the fair, and over 850,000 people watched the livestreaming online. The intended turnover exceeded 870 million yuan on the first day.
The exhibitors made every effort to capture the attention of merchants at the fair.
LBDJ, a technology company in Shenzhen, tried to attract customers by making and sharing ice cream on site. According to the company's brand director Xiao Jianqin, it only took one hour to travel from the Baoan headquarters to the Huangpu International Convention and Exhibition Center thanks to the ShenZhong Link. The reduced travel time not only facilitates the company's participation in the fair but also provides support to its layout in the home appliances service market.
Huangpu is a manufacturing hub for home appliances in China. It is home to over 2,800 home appliance manufacturers and related enterprises, with a total output value of nearly 50 billion yuan.
