On September 28, a skill exchange among Cantonese cuisine chefs from Shenzhen and Zhongshan and the Third "Pigeon Cuisine" Competition took place in Zhongshan's Cuiheng New District.
The competition was attended by 100 Cantonese cuisine chefs from 9 cities in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, of whom 98% came from enterprises including 84 catering enterprises. They served 300 Shiqi Pigeon dishes.
In addition, the organizers also recruited 50 Cantonese cuisine chef teams, all from famous Cantonese restaurants, time-honored restaurants and exquisite brand stores in Shenzhen and Zhongshan. The event featured a display of 500 pigeon dishes in total, earning the Guinness World Record for the most varieties of pigeon dishes on display.
The first prizes were claimed by Zhu Yaming, a Cantonese cuisine chef from Shenzhen, and He Bingchang, a Cantonese cuisine chef from Zhongshan.
