The 2024 Xiaolan Chrysanthemum Fair started on November 29 at the Xiaolan Chrysanthemum Garden.

The main venue covers approximately 350 mu, showcasing 28 sets of chrysanthemum landscaping, 15 sets of flower borders, and over 1,000 chrysanthemumvarieties.

Eight major zones, including chrysanthemum landscaping zone, famous chrysanthemum display zone, the floral sea, art performance zone, cultural exhibition zone, the food court, the creative market and recreation zone, are set up for visitors.

In the chrysanthemum landscaping zone, a 188-meter chrysanthemum dragon is particularly eye-catching. Featuring photoelectric technology and lighting fixtures, the Vatti Lucky Dragon, along with the phoenix-shaped floral sea on the east side, implying Xiaolan's economic and social prosperity. This art installation has applied for "the longest dragon composed of flowers" Shanghai China Record.

There is also a 1,400-square-meter large-sized chrysanthemum installation called the Lingding Hongbo Garden". It has 4 major parts that combine chrysanthemum culture with city features, intangible cultural heritage, Chinese zodiac elements and beautiful life, respectively.

The event will run through December 18.
