After four days of competition, the 2023 MGM Macao International Regatta wrapped up on January 8. Zhongshan Sailing Team was crowned in the IRC group.

Led by world sailing champion Liu Ming, also a former Chinese national sailing team member and executive chairman of the Zhongshan Yachting Association, Zhongshan Sailing Team has 12 members from sci-tech, finance, media, university & college and other areas.

Organized by the Sports Bureau of the Macao SAR Government, the 2023 MGM Macao International Regatta comprises the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Cup Regatta (IRC group), the Macao Cup International Regatta (Beneteau First 40.7 unified design group) and the International Catamaran Invitational (Hobie 16 unified design group). A total of 37 teams competed in the event.
