The Zhongshan Overseas Chinese Virtual Spring Festival Gala 2023 was broadcast on Tencent and the livestreaming platform of Guangzhou Daily on the night of January 19. Performances by 19 overseas Chinese groups and schools in 9 countries and regions brought joy to 1.1345 million Zhongshan people at home and abroad to celebrate the Spring Festival.

A variety of performances were presented, including traditional Tang poetry, Han costume and Chinese musical instruments shows as well as exotic cultural performances such as ballet, Indonesian dance and bel canto chorus. The youngest performer was 7 years old and the oldest was over 80 years old. Among the performers were professional vocalists, dancers and instrumentalists, as well as amateurs from the overseas Chinese community.
