On March 5, the 2023 Zhongshan SUP Invitational Tournament kicked off at the Zhongshan SUP Sports Base in Zhan's Garden, with 110 paddleboarders from Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Foshan, Zhongshan and other Greater Bay Area cities competing for eight titles.

After intense competition, Zhongshan claimed four titles. In the U12 and U15 girls' 4,000m finals, Hu Minzhe and Ye Jiaying came in first; Wang Xin finished first in the U15 boys' 300m sprint; and Zheng Yong won the U12 boys' 4000m race.

The tournament is a SUP event jointly hosted by SUP clubs in the GBA. The 2023 GBA SUP League will present six tournaments, with the one in Zhongshan coming first.
