"East or west, Zhongshan is the best."

With the theme of "Reading the City - My Story with Zhongshan", a culture salon was held in Zhongshan Daily on the night of April 20.

English speakers shared their "My Zhongshan" stories, and two of the locals acted like "human books" and introduced Zhongshan's delicacies, custom and brand events to international students and foreigners living in Zhongshan.

Representatives of the first international students and and foreign teachers at Zhongshan Torch Polytechnic (ZSTP) were invited to the activity and interacted with other participants. Ahmed from Chad said that through the salon, he had made a lot of friends and gained a deeper understanding of Zhongshan and its culture.

The participants were also invited to tour around the Zhongshan Online Press Conference Hall & Zhongshan International Communication Center on the 16th floor of the Zhongshan Daily building to learn about its important role in Zhongshan's international communication. This was the first bilingual culture salon hosted by the Zhongshan International Communication Center since its establishment.
